Interjet announces new flights to Los Angeles

Mexico, Oct. 24 (Notimex).- Interjet announced new routes to Los Angeles, California, from the airports of El Bajío, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta, adding to flights from Guadalajara, Cancun and Mexico City , which currently operate in that US city.



"This is a great step to strengthen the connectivity of our country with the United States and we celebrate the strengthening of this relationship and the expansion of our destinations", said the CEO of the firm, José Luis Garza.

In a statement, the airline highlighted that with these routes continues to expand its connection network to different national and international destinations.

According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the airline transported more than 733 thousand passengers during the third quarter of this year, representing an increase of more than 168 thousand passengers, up 23 percent compared to the same period 2016.

On the route from Puerto Vallarta, the director of the Tourism Trust (Fidetur, for its acronym in Spanish) of this city, Javier Aranda Pedrero, said that several caravans of tourist promotion are carried out in Los Angeles and other cities of California, that are very receptive to the promotional messages of this destination.

Due to the high demand that exists between Puerto Vallarta and Los Angeles, one of the main airlines of commercial flights (Interjet), will begin to fly from November 23 and will have four frequencies.
